Client: Toledo Business Owners
Goal: successful and sustainable brand creation
Approach: personalized client workbook
How might I build relationships celebrating Toledo, OH to develop best brand practices for small to medium sized businesses to thrive?
Introducing Holy Toledo: The 419 Brand Design Bible
The client workbook built to help Toledo Business owners build and sustain a successful brand in the Greater Toledo Area.
To begin the process, I endured a 'Week of Change', in which I took 30 minutes a day over a 7 day period to reflect on problems
that I felt compelled to take action on through a future designed outcome. With a passion for Toledo, it was only natural for me to
gravitate towards the opportunity to make Toledo a better place through my design skills.

Through my theory triangulation, I found three important themes through extensive literature reviews, Toledo Brand Communication Audits, and Analogous research brand auditing with Local Cincinnati brands. These themes would be conveyed in my final outcome and are as follows: #1Many Toledo brands share a common theme of rustic
undertones due to the rich history of the area. #2Many successful Toledo brands miss crucial
brand identity factors despite their accomplishments. #3Local Cincinnati brands hold a lot of success within their
design and management, which could improve the processes of similar brands within Toledo. |
